Impacted Teeth; Wisdom Teeth; Dental Extractions
When teeth are trapped either by the jawbone, gums or even other teeth,
they are called impacted. This is very common with "Wisdom Teeth".
These are the last teeth to come in and the ones least needed for good
oral health. If your wisdom teeth get impacted, they can cause severe
pain and can even shift your other teeth out of place. Therefore, it is
important to diagnose a problem with them early to avoid more complicated
(and expensive) problems later. Often wisdom teeth need to be surgically
extracted. General anesthesia is available for this and other surgical
procedures in our office, making the experience as painless, calm, and
efficient as possible.
